Turkey Talk

I hope all of you had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend! I have to be honest, I am not a fan of Black Friday. I went to Target on Saturday to get a few things and all I remember is seeing a group of kids go up to a large display of snow globes near me and wind every single one of them. For a solid 5 minutes I heard a horrendous melody of mixed holiday tunes via those globes.

So instead of battling the crowds I concentrated my free time on a few holiday treats for family and friends! I finally had the opportunity to try out the pumpkins I wanted to create with natural ridges. This look is created by simply outlining and flooding the two outer sections. Wait about an hour and then fill in the middle section. It creates a great look that is super easy to replicate!

I added in some pilgrim hats as well as some fall leaves, but I neglected to take a picture of them. Darn! Lastly, here are the turkeys I worked on. I was happy the way they turned out. The feathers were created by using a marbling technique. It’s super easy and creates great impact!

Holiday cookies will be posted soon, but before that you’ll get to view a fun baby shower I hosted. Stay tuned!
